Race Preview

Gordon Bennett looks well worth chancing on his first start for Peter Fahey. Once rated as high as 94 after a superb spell in 2022, he has tumbled to a career-low mark of 56 and has previously shown he can run well fresh. The booking of champion jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle, who is riding at a 25% strike-rate over the past fortnight, catches the eye, and this looks an ideal opportunity to capitalise on a lenient handicap mark.

Pete's Dream is the obvious danger after finally getting off the mark at Fairyhouse before following up with a solid third at Killarney despite a higher rating.
