After a winning NAP yesterday to round off a week of winners the Picks From The Paddock team are back to give their best bet of the day and a tip for every race
NAP OF THE DAY
17:55 Wolverhampton
Arcanada boasts an excellent all-weather record having won four from six on synthetic surfaces, including this race last season. He arrives in good form having won at Lingfield when last seen on New Years Eve and with both stable and jockey in excellent recent form he should be capable of following up from a mark just 2lbs higher than last years’ win.
It would be dangerous to dismiss Hathal considering his victory last time out, however Ryan Moore has only had four rides in the last twelve months at Wolves and has ridden two winners so his booking on Oh This Is Us could prove significant. There are question marks over stamina but if that holds then Ryan’s mount looks the main danger.

Splash Of Verve returned from a break with an excellent second here at Wolves on Boxing Day, where the winner and the third have both won since, before stepping up to todays’ trip and going one better and defying odds of 25/1 when winning at Newcastle last time out. Again partnered with Toby Eley and unexposed over this trip, he should be able to defy a 3lbs rise and gain another victory today.
Mrs Burbidge has made the frame in four from six over course and distance and will likely prove popular in the betting with Adam Kirby in the saddle. He was just a neck away from victory when last seen on the all-weather but returns with an extra 2lbs to carry so may have to settle for a place again.
The shortlist is completed by Cuckoo’s Calling who disappointed last time out but should improve now partnered with Callum Rodriguez who has an excellent strike rate when riding for Keith Dalgleish.
