Following an excellent third behind Watch Me at Royal Ascot, Jubiloso looked a ‘banker’ at Goodwood earlier in the month.

But the Michael Stoute-trained filly was denied a clear run until all too late and finished like a rocket to snatch third place behind Billesdon Brook.

She will, understandably, be sent off at short odds. Lavender’s Blue represents the each-way value.

Owned by Benny Andersson, the founder of Abba, Lavender’s Blue failed to fire in the Oaks due to dehydration but looked a smart filly in her two previous outings.

POSITIVE (3.35, treble) was not disgraced when chasing home Pinatubo, favourite for next year’s 2,000 Guineas, at Goodwood in July and a repeat will see him take the Betway Solario Stakes.

John Gosden, successful in the race last year with the talented Too Darn Hot, is represented by Eshassy who is expected to be the danger.

Clive Cox, the trainer of Positive, will be hoping to make it an across the card double with Tis Marvellous at Beverley but I expect him to play second fiddle behind DANZENO (3.15, nb).

There is very little separating the pair on their running at Royal Ascot when Tis Marvellous was second behind Cape Bryon with Danzeno a head behind him in third place.

Today Danzeno is a 1lb better off in this Listed contest and also, he has posted superior performances this season which should swing the verdict his way.

Chelmsford stage a cracking card and Frankie Dettori significantly will be in action after riding at Sandown.

Dettori can make it a treble with FUWAYRIT (6.15) and VALE OF KENT (7.15) and DEVERELL (8.15).

At York last week Vale Of Kent was just denied victory when chasing home What’s The Story over a mile.

Tonight, he will be relish the drop to seven furlongs and hopefully better his fourth place in last year’s race when behind Cenotaph.
