Thankfully the winners come on coming for the team and it was great to get a win with Tawseef yesterday with Ella in the saddle. It’s going to be all hands on deck this Sunday with runners at Cartmel and Uttoxeter. There is some great prize money on offer at Cartmel and it’s great to see it so well supported.
I have a nice team of horses running and you can read my thoughts on them below:
Sunday
See The Sea
Cartmel – 2:00
Jockey: Brian Hughes
There are a couple in there that could be better than her but she has to have a chance. She ran a nice race behind what looked a smart horse at Sedgefield and Cartmel should suit her fine.
Artichoke Heart
Cartmel – 2:00
Jockey: Will Kennedy
She disappointed me the last day an dis only tiny. That being said, she is tough and jumps well so I’m hoping for a better run.

Constancio
Cartmel – 2:35
Jockey: Will Kennedy
Everyone knows that he can be a bit tricky but he’s got undoubted ability. He won nicely the last day and the track could just suit him in what looks a competitive race.
Nayati
Cartmel – 2:35
Jockey: Brian Hughes
He runs in the same race and is the choice of Brian. He has shown strong form in his recent runs and like Constancio, he’s got an each-way chance in a strong looking race.
Lofgren
Cartmel – 4:15
Jockey: Brian Hughes
He’s been running ok of late but he might want a little bit further but I think for the money on offer this race isn’t as strong as Nayati’s race and he’s got to have a chance.

Secret Escape
Cartmel – 4:50
Jockey: Brian Hughes
She another with a live chance although there are a couple in the race that look potentially well-handicapped. However, she won well the last day and the ground/track should be no problem.
Ormsher
Uttoxeter – 5:15
Jockey: Lorcan Murtagh
He was a little bit unlucky at Aintree where he got into a little bit of trouble through no fault of his own. He’s won around Uttoxeter in the past and if he runs to his Aintree form he’ll go close.
Thecattlejobber
Uttoxeter – 5:45
Jockey: Lorcan Murtagh
He showed a bit more on his second start for the yard at Markets Rasen but I think his future lies in handicaps.
Best Chance: Ormsher
