Tiger Woods To Win US PGA
The USPGA Championship takes up its new slot as the second of the year’s four golf majors this week and it’s Tiger Woods who is one of the market leaders as he goes off in search of his 16th major championship.
Woods won last month’s US Masters to go within 3 of Jack Nicklaus’ record haul of majors and has been installed as the 10/1 favourite to get even closer this week at Bethpage Black, the venue of his 2002 US Open Championship victory.
He is 200/1 to claim the Grand Slam by winning all three remaining major championships this season.
Numbers 1 and 3 in the world rankings, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, join Woods as 10/1 market leaders for the second major of the year, with Shane Lowry a 5/1 shot to be the best of the Irish by finishing ahead of Rory McIlroy (4/9), Graeme McDowell (11/2) and Padraig Harrington (13/2).
We will be paying out returns on at least 10 of this week’s field having pledged to pay each-way backers down to 10 places at the tournament.
Prices correct at time of publication.
