Timeform select the three best bets from Thurles on Thursday…
“…he is taken to gain compensation now…”
Timeform on Everlastingpromise
Everlastingpromise – 13:20 Thurles
Everlastingpromise got off the mark over fences in grand style at Clonmel last month and showed improved form from a revised mark when finishing runner-up over this C&D last time. He should have won that day, too, a loss of momentum at the final fence the difference between victory and defeat, and he is taken to gain compensation now. Great Khan has been improving so rates as the chief threat, ahead of Seskin Flyer, who has been most consistent of late.
Whatucaller – 14:30 Thurles
Whatucaller produced a career-best effort when opening her account over hurdles at Clonmel last time and seems reasonably treated having a belated first go in handicaps. She appeared to be well suited by the return to this trip on that occasion, jumping to the lead at the last and staying on strongly, so she's preferred to Something Sweet, who also arrives at the top of her game. Dolly Dancer is another one to consider.
Royal Thief – 15:35 Thurles
Royal Thief showed fair form in a couple of bumpers back in the spring, yet he had previously shaped with plenty of encouragement when showing fairly useful form to be placed in a maiden hurdle at Naas, and he could be the answer tackling this longer trip now. Bumper winner Santana Plessis and Shanwalla are also fancied to play lead roles.
