St Mirren 0-0 Aberdeen: Visitors remain four points adrift of third
[ad_1]
Aberdeen were booed off after failing to make a significant dent in third-placed Motherwell's advantage over them following a turgid draw with St Mirren.
Derek McInnes' side passed up the chance to narrow the gap to two points so now sit four adrift of the Steelmen after this drab Premiership draw.
Jon Obika hit a post for Saints but the visitors were blunt in attack.
St Mirren do move a point further away from second-bottom Hamilton, now two clear of the relegation play-off spot.
Aberdeen named new signing Matty Kennedy in the starting line-up, but in three games in 2020 they have yet to score from open play.
More to follow.
