  1. Peter Crouch was one of those few players who could keep the ball under any situation. Other players that could do this include Willy Sagnol, Bixente Lizarazu, Andreas Iniesta, Xavi, Ze Roberto, Xabi Alonso and Ronaldinho.

  2. In 2001 my flat mates laughed at me for predicting our [QPR's] beanpole striker would play for England. Still think he was criminally under used by successive England managers though.
