Blackburn Rovers 2-2 Huddersfield Town: Juninho Bacuna scores again off the bench
Juninho Bacuna came off the bench to score for a third successive game as Huddersfield Town battled back to draw at Blackburn Rovers.
The Terriers went in front when Karlan Grant scored from the spot following Elliott Bennett's foul on Adama Diakhaby near the touchline.
Lewis Holtby then tapped in an equaliser after Huddersfield defender Tommy Elphick had given the ball away cheaply, before Bradley Dack completed the turnaround with a sweeping finish from the edge of the box.
But Curacao international Bacuna made it 2-2 after half-time, skipping into the area and slotting past goalkeeper Christian Walton.
Just as he had done in the recent victories over Stoke City and Hull City, the 22-year-old again came on as a second-half substitute to make a goalscoring impact.
Town, who are now unbeaten in four games under manager Danny Cowley, looked the more likely to go on and win the match – and only a last-ditch challenge from Derrick Williams on Grant prevented them from earning all three points.
Blackburn, meanwhile, are without a victory in four games and have not won at Ewood Park since beating Millwall on 14 September.
Having earlier scored his first Rovers goal, former Tottenham midfielder Holtby missed a good chance to make it 3-1 when he dragged wide from inside the area – and he was later made to pay for his miss by Bacuna's smart finish.
