Real Madrid vs Liverpool Preview
Two of the biggest names of Europe will lock horns when Real Madrid invite Liverpool for the first-leg of the Round of 8 Champions League on Tuesday, April 6th.
On the other hand, Liverpool put in one of their best performances in a long time as they overpowered Arsenal 0-3 away at the Emirates stadium in a Premier league clash on Saturday.
They were brilliant in the Round of 16, beating a belligerent RB Leipzig 4-0 on aggregate and comfortably progressing to the quarter-final stage.

Real Madrid team news
Zidane will have to make do without his inspirational skipper and veteran defender Sergio Ramos and also miss the services of right-back Dani Carvajal and midfielder Federico Valverde. Eden Hazard is making considerable progress as far as his recovery from injury is concerned but whether he will be a part of the starting line-up could be debatable.
Raphael Varane who was rested against Eibar on Saturday could be introduced at some point of the match, while Toni Kroos and Vinicius Junior will in all certainty make starts. Zidane will probably go for the 3-5-2 formation with the in-form Karim Benzema and Vinicius spearheading the attack in striking roles.
Liverpool team news
For the Reds, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Jordan Henderson and Joe Gomez are all long-term injuries and definitely out.
Georginio Wijnaldum could come in for James Milner in the midfield space while Klopp may not want to risk a start for the recently recovered Diogo Jota who came off the bench to score twice for his side against Arsenal. Which means the usual suspects in the form of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will line up for a frontal three to complement a 4-3-3 formation.
Real Madrid possible starting lineup:
Courtois (goal); Varane, Militao, Nacho; Vazquez, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Mendy; Vinicius, Benzema
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson (goal); Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson; Thiago, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane
