Tobias Gourlay's staying over in Brazil for what he hopes will be an entertaining night at Arena Corinthians
Corinthians v Fortaleza
The Warriors folded in Brazil last night. Brasil de Pelotas lost 3-0 at Vitoria BA and took our BTTS bet down with them.
But that won't put us off staying in Brazil tonight. There are a number of top-level Serie A matches to choose from and we've gone for Corinthians' home game with Fortaleza. The hosts have recently delivered on BTTS in 4/6 at Arena Corinthians. Fortaleza have been good for BTTS over a slightly longer period, so we're excited about the [2.30] available for tonight's clash.
Promoted last season, the visitors have approached Serie A in the right way. Rogerio Ceni's men have been improving on the road too: after failing to score in four of their first five away games, they have now struck at least once in nine of the most recent 10. At the other end, they have conceded in 14/15 since the start of term, so odds-on favourites Corinthians will also fancy their chances of grabbing a goal or more this evening.
Corinthians have scored in 13/15 home matches this season. At the other end, they had been pretty solid, until they conceded in four of the last six. The same fraction of those matches have seen both teams score so, at an odds-against price for a match against visitors with a decent scoring record of their own, that's our bet for today.
