We're hoping for Friday night fun in the Republic of Ireland, because Kev believes both teams will score when Bray Wanderers meet Limerick.
“Bray have suffered a dreadful run of form, while Limerick have lost just one of their last seven matches.”
Lay Bray at [1.61]
Ailing hosts to slip up again
Bray v Limerick
Friday July 12, 19:45
Thor left his hammer at home last night, and a 1-1 draw with Magni left us a couple of goals short. As Norse legends go, it was a bit underwhelming.
We head to the Republic of Ireland in search of solace, because Bray Wanderers are up against Limerick in the Irish First Division.
Bray have lost five of their last six matches, and find themselves seven points off the playoff pace. The temptation is to lay them at [1.61] for the outright win given their current form, but to give you the full picture it's worth noting that at the Carlisle Grounds they are far more effective than they are on their travels, having won six of their nine home games in the league.
Limerick's only defeat in the last seven games was against the league leaders Shelbourne, and they have put together a three-match unbeaten run on the road. Their recent record against Bray is very good – they have won five of the clubs' last six meetings.
Bray's home record this term has to be respected, but their overall form is poor, and Limerick are on a roll. The hosts just seem too short for the victory, so let's lay them.
