The weather being what it is in the UK at present, there has to a good chance that a number of games (particlularly at the lower levels of the pyramid) could be subject to postponement this weekend. On the assumption that Staines game at home to Folkestone goes ahead, it does look to be a game in which to take an interest though.

Although Staines are only a few points and places ahead of Folkestone in the table as things stand, they do have several games in hand too. In addition, whereas their recent form has been encouraging, Folkestone's results of late have been far from impressive.

Although Staines have lost just one of 10 league games at home this term, it should be noted that seven have finished all square. Then again, Folkestone has lost 15 of 26 matches in the Ryman Premier this season and conceded 50 goals at a rate of very nearly two per game.

Taking everything into account, the even money available with Stan James on the Staines victory looks worth a punt.
