Wednesday Can Benefit From Plymouth's Cup Campaign
With Plymouth Argyle looking forward to an FA Cup quarter-final at home to Watford on Sunday, they can be forgiven if they don't have their focus 100% on tonight's trip to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday. Both teams are currently in mid-table, a perfectly acceptable position for each of them, with little hope of reaching the play-offs but, more importantly perhaps, no major threat of relegation.
The Owls should be full of confidence following their 3:2 win at Leeds United in the Yorkshire derby on Saturday and manager Brian Laws will be looking to take full advantage should Plymouth have their minds elsewhere.
The 5-4 available for a Sheffield Wednesday victory with William Hill looks an attractive price under the circumstances.
