Premiership Predictions & Correct Score Football Tip ~ Manchester United - Hull City

Best Predicted result of the previous week: “Blackburn beating Fulham” After they had not won since the 22nd November & “Arsenal beating Bolton Away” which was a tricky away game for the Gunners.

Hi everyone. Last weekend saw me correctly predict four out of nine Premiership results (Portsmouth - Birmingham was called off). My correct results were Arsenal beating Bolton away, Manchester United beating Burnley at home, Blackburn beating Fulham & finally Chelsea beating Sunderland. This weekend also sees the continuation of the FA Cup as we hit the Forth Round & with both Liverpool & Manchester United both out It could be a good year for another club to do a Portsmouth. Let’s hope so as the FA Cup needs a new name on it I feel rather than one of the Big four winning it. If only West Ham, Millwall, Southampton had managed to end up winners rather than runners up in previous years then the famous old Cup competition would have a much more better modern pedigree. Onwards & upwards. Good luck & see you all next Monday as there is a full Premiership Midweek fixture list before next Saturday/Sunday.

Section 1: Premiership Games:

Section 2: FA Cup Games:

Match 3: Manchester United - Hull City: (Saturday 23rd January 3pm):

Manchester United are beginning to slip. They were beaten at home by Leeds in the third round of the FA Cup & have already lost Five games in the league this season already. They are obviously missing Ronaldo & Tevez but the major point is that their American owners haven’t released money for replacements & as a consequence the team is suffering despite the ref’s helping them as much as they can. There is no question in my mind that their American owners are Parasites feeding off the club but bizarrely I feel this is good for football as it is allowing other clubs to compete & besides I feel that Manchester United have it coming to them anyway. Hull gained a very useful point at Spurs at the weekend in a 0-0 draw which was not enough to take them out of the bottom three but they are only behind Wolves on goal difference now, so tight is it at the bottom of the table. I feel that they won’t field a weakened side against Manchester United but they will still lose I’m afraid.

Result Prediction: Manchester United to win

Score Prediction: Manchester United 3 Hull 1

Match 1: Arsenal - Bolton: (Wednesday 20th January 7.45pm):

Arsenal made it eight games unbeaten in the league since they lost at Home to Chelsea in late November by beating tonight’s opponents Bolton 2-0 away. They have won six of those eight games and as both Manchester United & Chelsea have dropped more points than them they have moved to within three points of Chelsea & two of Manchester United. If they win this game against Bolton than they will go top on goal difference. This is an amazing turn around in their fortunes as they looked out of the title race when they lost at home to Chelsea at the end of November. This game against Bolton is Arsenal’s game in hand & they should win it despite Bolton appointing Owen Coyle as their manager prior to Sunday’s game. You couldn’t really ask for a tougher start to your new job? I think Arsenal Will win this game but Bolton won’t die easily in this game. The million dollar questions are weather Arsenal will win the Title & if Bolton will stay up?

Result Prediction: Arsenal to win

Score Prediction: Arsenal 2 Bolton 0

Match 2: Liverpool - Tottenham: (Wednesday 20th January 8pm):

This game was cancelled only a couple of weeks ago & in my earlier preview I said that Spurs would win 2-1. Nothing much has changed in that short period since then to change my point of view. Liverpool have been dumped out of the cup by lowly Reading of the Championship (deservedly so) & on Saturday could only draw at mid table Stoke City 1-1. Their manager’s tactics are being found out & they are getting the results his decisions deserve. Tottenham on the other hand are still having a good season despite a surprise 0-0 draw at home with Hull City on Saturday when it became obvious early on in the game that Hull had come for the draw. Tottenham’s away form is good this season with wins at Portsmouth, Blackburn, West Ham, & Hull as well as draws at Aston Villa, Fulham, Bolton & Everton. They have in fact only lost two away games, at Arsenal & Chelsea. What they need is an away victory against a top ten side & that I feel will happen against Liverpool as Liverpool are having such a dreadful season. Could be the Liverpool manager’s last game in charge.

Result Prediction: An away win for Spurs

Score Prediction: Liverpool 1 Spurs 2

That’s until next mid-week. Good luck.
