Premiership Predictions & Correct Scores for 16th/17th February 2010
Match 1: Stoke City - Manchester City: (Tuesday 16th February 7.45pm):
Stoke managed a very good 1-1 draw at Manchester City in the FA Cup on Sunday despite falling behind early on. Stoke are having a much better season than last & should easily stay up, they are also on a good run at present. Not only have they progressed to the 5th round of the FA Cup for the first time since Winston Churchill was Prime minister (joke) but they are doing well in the League. They thrashed Blackburn 3-0 at home in their last home game & then drew 1-1 at Wigan in their last league game before the Cup tie on Saturday. Manchester City are losing form as was proved by the draw against the same side on Saturday. They got beat at Hull last time away & face the prospect of going bout in the replay of the Cup against tonights opponents. I think this game will be a Stoke Victory.
Result Prediction: Stoke to win
Score Prediction: Stoke 2 Manchester City 1

Bolton are in danger of getting relegated as are Wigan & this makes this match a right relegation battle. Wigan are slightly better off as they are 16th but only two points better off than Bolton. Bolton drew at home with Spurs in the Cup 1-1 on Sunday, which in it self is not a bad result. I suspect they will lose the replay but more important to them is staying up. The same applies for Wigan & this is what makes this game so important. I think both sides will cancel each other out & a draw will probably be of no good to either side in their battle to stay up.
Result Prediction: A low scoring score draw
Score Prediction: Wigan 1 Bolton 1
