Faltering Fisher On A Loser At Lewes
The Conference South race for the title and play-off places looks like going all the way to the wire, although as things stand it looks unlikely that either Lewes or Fisher Athletic will be in the shake up.Lewes were many people's fancies for the championship at the start of the season, having invested heavily over the summer. However, they have failed to find any consistency this term and although they have had two 5:1 victories in their last three matches, they have played more games than most of their rivals and would appear to have too much to do in reaching the top five.
By contrast, Fisher have had a fine season until late, but three heavy defeats on the bounce in which they have leaked 12 goals lloks like costing them dear and they could again be on the receiving end at Lewes on Wednesday night, with the 5-6 available with Paddy Power on the home win looking to be a generous price under the circumstances.
