The appointment of Dennis Wise as new manager of Leeds United may not have been universally welcomed by the Elland Road faithful, but his arrival could well lead to an immediate upturn in fortunes at home to Southend United on Saturday.Leeds will be looking to exact swift revenge on the visitors following their 3:1 home defeat to the same opposition in Carling Cup action on Tuesday night and Wise's input in the dressing room should be more than capable of lifting morale.
