Although Histon go into this weekend's round of matches in the Conference South with a seven-point advantage over the chasing pack, there is still plenty to play for this season in what is shaping up into a very competitive division.
Two teams who are currently in the play-off positions are Havant & Waterlooville and Salisbury, with the pair meeting at Westleigh Park on Saturday.
After a particularly bright start to the campaign, salisbury have been slipping a little of late, with their FA Cup exertions almost certainly being a major factor in the dip in their league form.
With an FA Cup 2nd round replay away to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, it would only be natural were their focus again to be elsewhere for the trip to Havant.
Havant's current form is the more impressive of the two teams and with players such as Dean Holdsworth and Fitzroy Simpson in the ranks, they possess a wealth of experience that could be hugely significant in taking advantage of anything less than total commitment in the visitors' approach.
