Fulham Relegation
Fulham Relegation from the Premiership 2008/9 Football betting PreviewFulham Could Struggle For Survival Next Term
Having opted to part company with Chris Coleman as manager, Fulham's decision to appoint lawrie Sanchez as his successor at Craven Cottage looks to have been a little hasty.
Yes, he managed to steer Fulham to Premiership safety, but his only victory was against a seriously depleted Liverpool team that had the Champions League to focus on.
There is only limited quality in the Fulham squad and the players that Sanchez is said to be looking at - David Healy, Titus Bramble, Lee Chun-soo - hardly inspire confidence in terms of a major improvement next term.
There is also the question of Sanchez's tactical style, with a reputation for favouring route one football. It's arguable whether that is going to be good enough for the Premiership.
It might be a seriously long-term bet, but the 15-8 available with Bluesq on Fulham to be relegated from the Premiership next season looks to have every chance.
