The next Premiership Manager to leave

Pearce Looking Shaky At Manchester City
Manchester City's FA Cup exit at Blackburn Rovers on Sunday may have been fairly predicatable, but it still didn't go down well with the City faithful who made their opinion as to their team's efforts patently clear at the end of the game.

Four straight Premiership defeats has left Stuart Pearce's team just one place above the Premiership drop-zone and with the City forward line firing blanks all season, it's difficult to see their being any significant improvement over the remaining weeks of the season.

The financial situation at the club has severely restricted Pearce's ability to strengthen his squad to any great significance and unless talk of a takeover materialises, it has to be doubted whether the likes of Joey Barton and Micah Richards will still be at the club next season. Pearce's position looks to be in even greater doubt, with the suggestion being that he has just two more games to save his job.

It's difficult to think of any other Premiership manager currently under as much pressure as Pearce in terms of needing results to retain their job so, although the 4-5 with Ladbrokes on him being the next Premiership manager to leave his job is definitely on the short side, it's difficult to argue a case for anyone else to leave before him, particularly were there to be another departure before the end of the current campaign.
