Doncaster To Keep Play-off Hopes Alive
Out-of-sorts Doncaster Rovers play host to the similarily poorly performing Cheltenham Town on Saturday, with both teams are in desperate need of the points for their own very different targets.Doncaster are pursuing a place in the League One play-offs, although with just two wins from their last nine matches, they are not making it easy for themselves.
Cheltenham's goal is to avoid an immediate drop back into League Two, but with just two points from five games they are now three points shy of safety as a consequence.
Although they draw too many games at home, Doncaster certainly possess the greater quality and even without injured top-scorer Paul Heffernan, this looks to be a big chance for Rovers with the 4-6 available with William Hill looking to be a price that is just about acceptable.
