Football bet Coventry v Wolverhampton

Coca-Cola League Championship: k.o. 13 Mar 19:45

Result: Coventry 2 1 Wolverhampton FT

Goal Glut Unlikely At Coventry
Mick McCarthy's Wolverhampton Wanderers are pressing hard for automatic promotion to the Premiership on the back of six straight wins and will be looking to maintain that form with Tuesday's trip to mid-table Coventry City.

Wolves' success this term has been built around a fairly solid defence, with goals not proving that easy to come by. To date Wolves have mustered just 42 goals in 37 matches - not exactly prolific for a team chasing promotion.

Coventry have also struggled to find the back of the net on a regular basis this term, with the early sale of Gary McSheffrey hitting them hard. Their cause isn't helped for the Wolves game by the absence of Kevin Kyle with a hip injury, while fellow strikers Leon McKenzie and Dele Adebola are both doubtful.

The bet here looks to be on the under 2.5 goals, with Stan James offering 8-11 on such an eventuality.
