Copa America
01 Jul 21:00 Brazil v ChileBrazil And Chile Promise Goals
The opening 2:0 defeat against Mexico has left Brazil will plenty to do if they are not to make an early exit from the Copa America, with Sunday night's game against Chile being one in which they will be looking to bounce back with immediate effect.
Despite the defeat, Brazil did create plenty of chances, particularly after the break, but were thwarted by some solid Mexican defending and some fine saves from Guillermo Ochoa. It has to be said that the Chilean defence is unlikely to be as resolute as that of the Mexicans under Rafael Marquez. Robinho, Diego and co. are likely to have more joy as a consequence.
Chile began witha 3:2 victory over Ecuador and go into the game with the Brazilians in the knowledge that just one more point from their final two group games will almost certainly be enough to take them through to the quarter-final stage. Chile's strengths are unquestionably going forward, with some quality attacking midfielders in the likes of Jorge Valdivia and Matias Fernandez and a quality striker in Humberto Suazo. It would be no great surprise were they to conjur up a goal or two themselves.
With Brazil needing to win and with the Chileans possessing players capable of scoring goals themselves, this is a game in which goals would appear to be on the cards. The 4-6 available with Premierbet on their being over 2.5 goals in the match looks attractive under the circumstances.
