Villa Value For Victory To Nil
Aston Villa v Watford 20 Jan 15:00

There is enough quality in the ranks of Martin O'Neill's team to suggest that they should be capable of scoring at least one goal themselves, so the bet here looks to be on Aston Villa to win to nil, available at a tempting 7-5 with Paddy Power..

Aston Villa are long overdue a victory after embarking on a 12-match winless streak and with Watford the visitors to Villa Park on Saturday, this really does look to be the game where they finally collect maximum points again.

Villa are still in the market for new players in the January transfer window, with Watford's Ashley Young being one of their main targets.

Whether Young moves to the Midlands or not, it has to be serious doubts as to his involvement here, given that his current club have already accepted a bid for his services from their opponents.

That, coupled with the continued long-term absence of key striker Marlon King, certainly doesn't bode well for Watford, who have scored just 12 goals in 21 matches as it is.

Aston Villa are hardly prolific themselves, but are reasonably tight defensively and really should be capable of keeping the Watford attack in check.

There is enough quality in the ranks of Martin O'Neill's team to suggest that they should be capable of scoring at least one goal themselves, so the bet here looks to be on Aston Villa to win to nil, available at a tempting 7-5 with Paddy Power.
